Activities: block of the month 07/08

block of the month bookThis year's block of the month is derived from Barbara Brackman's Facts & Fabrications, Unraveling the History of Quilts & Slavery. Participants will enjoy piecing these historic blocks and at the end of the year have 12 completed blocks ready for a quilt top.

Here's how it works

Sign-ups begin in July and are limited to 35 members. Each month for a $2 fee, participants are given a pattern and a fat quarter of light-colored fabric. Adding fabric from one's stash, members complete the block and present it at the following month's meeting.
