About Us: membership

You are cordially invited to join our group of quilting friends — all ages and from all walks of life — who share your love of quilting.

To join, simply come to a meeting. Membership applications are available at the Membership table. Yearly dues are $25 for members, $10 for junior members and $50 for affiliates. If you prefer, fill out the membership applicaction ahead of time and turn it in when you next attend. The downloadable application is available as a word document or pdf.

As a member you are invited to attend all general and board meetings of the Guild, vote and hold office, have use of our extensive library, participate in workshops and all other Guild sponsored events and receive our monthly newsletter.

Member participation is essential for the livelihood of the Guild, in addition to being a great way to meet others. All members are asked to sell/buy at least 15 opportunity quilt tickets a year, as well as participate in some manner with the quilt show.

Members are requested to fashion and wear a handcrafted nametag to Guild meetings. After a two-month grace period, a 25-cent donation is asked of members not wearing a nametag.

New members are also invited to our New Members' Tea, held several times throughout the year. During the social new members have the opportunity to meet the Board along with other members and learn first-hand about the Guild.
